  • Notify New – Prior to construction, a notification with basic information must be submitted.
  • Initial -Ninety days after submitting the Initial Project Notification, a more detailed registration for the standard permit is required.  This could be related to existing plant maintenance
  • Revision – Permit approved with a revision to the permit. This could be related to existing plant maintenance

Midstream Texas Operating LL MIDSTREAM TEXAS SOUTH CORPUS RAIL TERMINAL Permit #RN111305009

Kansas City Southern (KCS) (NYSE: KSU) and Midstream Texas Operating LLC (MTO) today announced a long-term commercial agreement to provide truck-to-rail transloading services for petroleum and petrochemicals from Corpus Christi, Texas into Mexico. Operations are expected to begin in fourth quarter 2021.

“KCS is looking forward to working with MTO to expand infrastructure to supply petroleum products to Mexico out of Corpus Christi. This new transload is strategically close to supply locations and to the border for expedient access to end markets,” said KCS vice president energy and chemical products Ginger Adamiak.

MOTIVA ENTERPRISES LLC PORT ARTHUR ETHANE CRACKER Permit #RN110498151

Motiva Enterprises [MOTIV.UL] completed the purchase of a Flint Hills Resources chemical plant next to its Port Arthur, Texas, refinery by the end of October 2021.

With the addition of the chemical plant, which has an ethane cracker but lacks units to process ethylene coming from the cracker, Motiva plans to accelerate construction of a polyethylene unit to process the ethylene, the sources said.

Motiva Enterprises had a Texas Air Permit approved that indicates they are moving forward with the Port Arthur Ethane Cracker.
