Oklahoma’s STACK came through in a big way for Ovintiv USA Inc. as the company just reported completion of three wells on a single pad with production of nearly 4,500 barrels of oil a day.
The wells, while they are now nearly half-a-year old, were only the latest in a long line of big producing wells in Canadian and Kingfisher Counties for Ovintiv.

Completed in December of 2021 in Canadian County at 11 14N 7W, a site 4 miles southeast of the city of Okarche, had combined production of 4,481 barrels of oil a day.
The Rock Island 1407 4h-14xx, spudded in May of 2021 had production of 1,624 barrels of oil a day and 1,811 Mcf of natural gas when completed in December 2021 at a drilled depth of 22,005 feet.
The Rock Island 1407 3h-14xx was completed with 1,507 barrels of oil a day and 1,600 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 21,991 feet. It had a May 2021 spud date according to its completion report.
The Rock Island 1407 2h-14xx, also spudded in May 2021 finished with 1,350 barrels of oil a day and 1,535 Mcf of natural gas. It had a drilled depth of 22,350 feet according to its completion report.
Two Kingfisher County wells on a single pad ended up with combined production of 1,200 barrels of oil a day for Hinkle Oil & Gas Inc. of Oklahoma City.
The Lincoln Southeast Oswego Unit 25-4ho, located at 18 17N 5W , a site 8 miles east of Dover was completed in April 2022 at a depth of 12,494 feet. It had a March 2022 spud date and finished with production of 635 barrels of oil a day and 536 Mcf of natural gas according to its completion report.
The Lincoln Southeast Oswego Unit 24-4ho was completed with production of 541 barrels of oil a day and 493 Mcf of natural gas. Its drilled depth was 12,421 feet according to its completion report.
Combined production from the two wells was 1,196 barrels of oil a day.
