Other News
- Saturn Oil + Gas Inc. second half 2019 drilling program commenced in early August with the drilling of five (5.0 net) ERH wells largely focused in the Company’s core Prairiedale area. All of these wells are expected to be completed and equipped by early September Saturn expects its full year 2019 capital program to be approximately $21.9 million, which will result in a total of 27 wells being drilled, completed, equipped and tied-in within its Viking light oil area
- Whitecap Resources reducing the Company’s 2019 second half capital expenditures program by 17% to $250 million from $300 million
- Clearview fulfilled its annual Area Based Closure (“ABC”) obligation with the Alberta Energy Regulator (“AER”) for 2019 by fully abandoning certain suspended pipelines. The total cost of these abandonments was approximately $150 thousand.
- Razor inherited decommissioning liabilities in its Swan Hills and Kaybob acquisitions. As at June 30, 2019, the Company had 22 wells remaining in its Inactive Well Compliance program that need to be addressed before March 31, 2020.
