Kodiak Gas Services (KGS) and Baker Hughes (BKR) announced a multi-year agreement Wednesday in which Baker Hughes will supply gas turbines and generators to support U.S. data center growth.
The companies said the initial equipment award includes ~1 GW of gas turbines and generators to be delivered by 2030, with a broader framework providing a pathway for up to 1.8 GW of power over time.
The initial order comprises NovaLT16 gas turbines, Frame 5 gas turbines, and BRUSH Power Generation generators.
“This agreement reflects the growing need for flexible power generation technologies; together, our gas turbines and generator technologies will help customers bring new capacity online faster to support the continued buildout of critical digital and energy infrastructure,” Baker Hughes (BKR) Chairman and CEO Lorenzo Simonelli said.
