US Shale New Well Pad Report

This well pad report identifies 88 pads containing 453 well records across 40 operators and 10 DI Basins, focusing on pads with four or more wells. Pads are identified using surface coordinates and a 50 m transitive clustering rule, which groups connected wells into the same pad even when the endpoints are more than 50 m apart. Grouped by DI Basin and ranked by operator pad count, the report highlights concentrations of multi-well development that OFS sales teams can use to prioritize account research and assess potential drilling, completion and production service opportunities.

The filtered report contains 88 well pads, 453 wells and 40 accounts across 10 DI Basins, with an average of 5.1 wells per pad. Each pad contains at least four records and was identified using 50 m transitive coordinate clustering.

Delaware and Midland account for 45 pads and 245 wells, representing 51% of pads and 54% of wells in the report. Diamondback and Koda Resources lead with nine pads each, followed by Devon with eight and Exxon (XTO) with six. These counts reflect the supplied report.
