SM Energy Company to acquire Uinta Basin assets owned XCL Resources, LLC

WildFire Energy I LLC has been rapidly expanding its operations in the East Texas Eagle Ford through significant acquisitions, including 16,000 net acres and 58 wells in June 2024, 237,000 net acres and 465 wells from Apache Corporation in May 2024, and 377,000 net acres and 1,350 wells from Chesapeake Energy in January 2023.
