Firebird Energy II Secures Pipeline Permit and Expands Drilling Activity in the Permian

August 2025 – Firebird Energy II LLC continues to expand its Permian Basin footprint with both midstream and upstream developments. The company recently received approval from the Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) for a new gas pipeline, while also maintaining an active drilling program across Midland and Upton counties.

Pipeline Permit Approved

On August 19, 2025, the RRC granted Firebird Energy II a T-4 Pipeline Permit (#10711) authorizing the operation of 12.81 miles of private natural gas pipeline in Midland and Upton Counties.

The line, designated unregulated under Texas jurisdictional rules, is expected to improve takeaway capacity for Firebird’s ongoing drilling activity and enhance midstream reliability in the region. The permit remains valid through April 30, 2026.
