TG Natural Resources’ 2026 drilling activity is fully concentrated in the Haynesville Shale, with operations in Harrison and Panola counties supported by a small, consistent group of rigs and contractors, reinforcing a highly efficient, factory-style development model. Strategically, the company is expanding its long-term gas position through acquisitions like the Chevron East Texas assets, aligning its growth with LNG demand and establishing itself as a key private consolidator in the Haynesville.

Chevron U.S.A. Inc., a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation, entered into a strategic joint venture with TG Natural Resources through the sale of a 70% interest in its East Texas natural gas assets.

TG Natural Resources drilled a total of 36 wells, with activity spread throughout the year. The drilling efforts were most intense in Q4 2024, which accounted for 33% of the annual drilling, suggesting a push to complete drilling programs before year-end.

Rockcliff Energy II LLC, (“Rockcliff”), a portfolio company of Quantum Energy Partners (“Quantum”), today announced the entry into a definitive agreement with TG Natural Resources LLC (“TGNR”), in which TGNR will acquire 100% of the membership interests in Rockcliff for US$ 2.7 billion, prior to customary adjustments (the “Transaction”).
