Akita Drilling has completed its all-share acquisition of Fox Drilling from Paramount Resources, adding six drilling rigs while preserving financial flexibility through an equity-financed transaction. The expanded fleet strengthens Akita’s position in Western Canada and the Permian Basin as operators prepare for continued drilling activity supported by stronger commodity prices.
