Centalion, formerly Gunvor, acquired Silver Hill Energy Partners’ Haynesville and Bossier natural gas assets in Texas and Louisiana, adding approximately 72,000 net acres, 300 MMcf/d of production and 300 gross operated development locations. The acquisition strengthens Centalion’s Gulf Coast natural gas position and could create opportunities for OFS suppliers in drilling, completions, compression, water management and production maintenance.

Gunvor is reportedly considering a $1.2 billion to $1.5 billion acquisition of Silver Hill Energy’s Haynesville gas assets, while OilGasLeads data shows Silver Hill has drilled 39 wells across Texas, Louisiana and North Dakota in 2026 YTD. The potential transaction highlights the growing strategic value of Haynesville production as LNG exports, power demand and demand for secure U.S. natural gas supplies increase.

Silver Hill Energy Partners is expanding its footprint in the Eagle Ford through the acquisition of producing assets from 1776 Energy Operators, highlighted by the transfer of 15 Texas air permits across core South Texas counties. The move reflects a classic private equity strategy of acquiring mature assets in proven basins and unlocking value through operational optimization.

Silver Hill Energy Partners, LP announced today that it has signed definitive agreements with Liberty Resources II, LLC, a privately-held, Denver-based oil and gas company, to acquire Liberty’s interests in oil and gas properties, rights and related assets in North Dakota and 100% of Liberty Midstream Solutions, LLC, a midstream oil and gas company with gas gathering, gas processing and produced water logistics assets in North Dakota.
