Buckhorn Production, LLC continues to expand its East Texas operations following the 2024 acquisition of KJ Energy assets, which added more than 550 operated wells and an established production infrastructure network, including 57 TCEQ air permit ownership-change records across Rusk, Shelby and San Augustine counties. The company drilled three wells in Rusk County’s Cotton Valley play during 2026 YTD using Patterson 585, demonstrating continued investment in drilling and development following the acquisition.
