Continental Resources recently concluded a 3-well project on a single pad in Carter County with combined production of nearly 1,700 barrels of oil a day.
The three Courtbet wells are located at 27 1S 3W, a site about one mile east of Ratliff City and each produced from the Woodford formation.

The Courbet 5-27-16xhw produced 388 barrels of oil a day and 533 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 21,720 feet. The completion report showed a true vertical depth of 9,005. The well was spud in September of 2022 and completed March 28 of this year.
The Courbet 4-27-16xhw was the largest producer with 716 barrels of oil a day and 872 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 21,122 feet. The true vertical depth, according to the completion report, was 9,059 feet. The well was spud in November of last year and completed March 25 of this year.
The Courtbet 3-27-21xhw, completed March 20 at a drilled depth of 22,127 feet, produced 552 barrels of oil a day and 707 Mcf of natural gas. True vertical depth was 9,310 feet according to the completion report. The well was spud in July 2022 and completed March 20, 2023.
Their combined production was 1,656 barrels of oil a day.
