Permian Basin

Covering 86,000 miles and 52 counties across southeastern New Mexico and western Texas, the Permian Basin is made up of three subsidiary basins: the Delaware, Midland, and Central Basin Platform.

Eagle Ford

The Eagle Ford shale play covers KARNES, GONZALES, DE WITT, LA SALLE, LIVE OAK, ATASCOSA, MCMULLEN, LAVACA, WILSON, DIMMIT, FRIO, DEWITT, ZAVALA, BEE and LEE counties in Texas. Major Oil & Gas Operators include Eog Resources, Inc., Conocophillips Company, Marathon Oil Corporation & BPX.

Haynesville is the third-largest shale gas-producing play in the United States.
