Elevation Resources LLC is a Permian Basin focused exploration & production company with operations in Andrews County on the Central Basin Platform. We were formed in 2013 with financial backing from a group of investors led by Pine Brook Road Partners, whose principals have been investing in the oil industry for over three decades. Our strategy employs horizontal drilling and multi-stage hydraulic fracturing in both conventional and unconventional reservoirs that are overlooked by our competitors. We are proud to call Midland our headquarters and home and our employees are active in community leadership and volunteer activities.

Operations

Mississippian strata located in Andrews, Ector, Martin, and Midland Counties constitute one of the least understood successions in the Midland Basin in West Texas, despite being located in a mature petroleum province. Increased activity in the “Wolfberry” (Permian) has led to a resurgence of interest in previously under-evaluated sections including Mississippian units, which have been successfully exploited for hydrocarbons in the Barnett Shale (Mississippian) in the Fort Worth Basin.
