Pipeline Project Details

CENOVUS ENERGY INC.- Permit #25,850- 4KM

Cenovus is one of the largest natural gas producers in the Elmworth-Wapiti area, located in northwest Alberta and northeast British Columbia.  It is a mature area that was historically developed with conventional vertical well technology but Cenovus has shifted to horizontal drilling in its development programs to unlock the vast resource potential.

The primary processing facility in the area is the Cenovus-operated Elmworth plant and we hold significant working interests in four other major natural gas processing facilities in the region.

NUVISTA ENERGY LTD.-Permit #58,961- 4.4KM – Pipeline to pipeline

With our return to drilling in the Wapiti area we are pleased to see performance at Gold Creek continuing to surprise to the upside, and importantly drilling inventory expansion is being underpinned by new results from the Lower Montney. The 7-14 Gold Creek pad which came on production in May was on budget with DCE costs of $2,390 per horizontal meter. The IP30 milestone has been reached on this pad with volumes averaging 1,420 Boe/d(8) including 40% condensate. Of particular note, this 4-well pad included our first Lower Montney test in the Gold Creek area. IP30 for this well was 1,340 Boe/d(8) including 48% condensate. This is extremely encouraging as our previous Gold Creek plans were based on single-zone development in the Middle Montney. As of the end of 2021, 94 Contingent Resource locations(8) had been booked in the Lower Montney at Gold Creek, but no Proved Plus Probable locations had yet been booked in our reserve report.

TOURMALINE OIL CORP.- #55,032- 2.62KM – Satellite to pipeline – VALHALLA

Given improving 2023 natural gas strip pricing(1) at several sales hubs, 2023 cash flow(2)(3) guidance has been increased to $6.58 billion, up 28% from previous guidance of $5.14 billion. • 2023 average production guidance remains at 545,000 boepd (2.5 bcf/day of natural gas and 126,000 bpd of oil, condensate, and NGLs). • Tourmaline expects to export approximately 926 mmcfpd of natural gas at exit 2023 including an initial 140 mmcfpd on the Gulf Coast fully exposed to JKM pricing, commencing January 1, 2023.
