Williams is reportedly nearing a $5.5 billion acquisition of Momentum Midstream, a move that would significantly expand its natural gas pipeline network connecting the Haynesville Shale to LNG export facilities and Gulf Coast power markets. The transaction would strengthen Williams’ position in the growing LNG infrastructure sector while supporting increasing demand for natural gas exports and power generation.

Williams reported strong first quarter financial results for 2024, with an adjusted net income of $719 million and an adjusted EBITDA of $1.934 billion, marking significant increases from the previous year.

Williams announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire a portfolio of natural gas storage assets from an affiliate of Hartree Partners LP for $1.95 billion.
