Two Devon Energy wells produced 1,100 barrels of oil a day near Okarche, OK

Devon Energy recently filed completion reports on two wells drilled on a single pad in Canadian County with production of more than 1,100 barrels of oil a day.

The combined natural gas production from the two Dougherty Bros wells, located about 7 miles southwest of Okarche, was more than 9,700 Mcf a day.

Located at 18 14N 8W, the Dougherty Brothers 18_19-14N-8W 2HX had production of 772 barrels of oil a day and 6,599 Mcf of natural gas from a drilled depth of 20,946 in the Mississippi formation. The well had a true vertical depth of 10,443 feet.

The Dougherty Brothers 18_19-14N-8W 3HX, spud in January and completed in late June like the first well, produced 332 barrels of oil a day and 3,109 Mcf of natural gas. Its drilled depth was slightly deeper at 21,070 feet while the true vertical depth was 10,846 feet.
