VINTON DOME STORAGE HUB, LLC – Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana

Vinton Dome Storage Hub, LLC (VDSH) is a midstream energy infrastructure developer advancing a high-deliverability underground natural gas storage hub on the Vinton Salt Dome in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. Located approximately five miles south of Vinton in the heart of the Gulf Coast LNG corridor, the project is designed to provide storage, balancing, and wheeling services for LNG export terminals, interstate pipelines, utilities, and industrial customers.

Well Count

  • Planned Storage Wells: 5 Class III solution-mining wells, which will be converted to Class II hydrocarbon storage or Class V hydrogen storage wells as the storage caverns are developed. The project is currently progressing through Louisiana and FERC permitting.
