Tulsa’s Ovintiv Mid-Continent Inc. continues seeing success with its series of multi-wells drilled from single pads in Oklahoma’s STACK play. The latest is three sister wells with production of nearly 2,000 barrels of oil a day while two wells near Kingfisher produced a thousand barrels of oil a day.

The company filed completion reports on the three Michael Fed 1608 wells located at 32 16N 8W or a site about 8 miles southwest of the city of Kingfisher.
The first well produced 482 barrels of oil a day and 1,381 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 19,265 feet in the Mississippian formation. It had an April 2019 spud date with completion made in November 2019.
Well number two produced 527 barrels of oil a day and 1,454 Mcf of gas from a depth of 18,920 feet. It too had an April 2019 spud date and completion on the same day in November.
The third well produced 671 barrels of oil a day and 1,162 Mcf of natural gas. Drilling depth was 19,205 feet. Like the two previous wells, it had an April spud date with completion in November.
Combined total production was 1,980 barrels of oil a day from the three wells.
