BPX drilled 300 wells in the US in 2023 and they have drilled have drilled 115 wells the first 6 months of 2024.

Aker BP made a major oil find in the Yggdrasil area offshore Norway, estimated at 96–134 million boe—one of the country’s largest in a decade—with first oil targeted for 2027 via tie-back to the Yggdrasil development. Spanning three licenses with partners Equinor, Petoro, and Orlen, the discovery adds meaningful barrels toward Aker BP’s >1 billion boe ambition for Yggdrasil.
