Enbridge will acquire Tallgrass Energy’s crude transportation business for $2.55 billion, adding interests in Pony Express, Powder River Gateway and 8.4 million barrels of terminal storage. The transaction strengthens Rockies-to-Cushing connectivity and includes a $300 million expansion expected to raise Pony Express capacity to approximately 515,000 barrels per day by late 2027.

Enbridge, KKR and Apollo are backing approximately C$2.7 billion of investment into the Aspen Point and Sunrise expansions of the Westcoast natural gas pipeline system in British Columbia. The projects will increase takeaway capacity for Western Canadian gas, strengthen connections into the U.S. Pacific Northwest and create a multi-year pipeline and infrastructure opportunity for oilfield service companies and suppliers.

Enbridge will acquire Salt Creek Midstream’s Orla and Wink North crude systems and a 50% interest in DCX for $600 million, adding approximately 500 miles of Delaware Basin gathering infrastructure with 420,000 bpd of capacity. The deal strengthens Enbridge’s wellhead-to-export network and reinforces the Permian Basin’s role in supplying reliable U.S. “Safe Barrels” to domestic and global markets

Enbridge and Energy Transfer have received a key U.S. permit to reverse flows on the Bakken Pipeline and build a new connection to the Dakota Access Pipeline, enabling more crude to move south into U.S. markets. The project will unlock underutilized capacity and create a more efficient export route for growing Canadian and Bakken oil production.

Canada has approved Enbridge’s $4B Sunrise expansion of the Westcoast pipeline system, adding ~300 MMcf/d of natural gas capacity through new pipeline, compression, and facility upgrades. Construction begins July 2026 with startup targeted for late 2028, supporting growing LNG export demand in British Columbia.

Enbridge Inc. has taken significant steps to expand its operations in the Permian Basin. A key initiative is the launch of an open season to increase the Gray Oak pipeline capacity by up to 120,000 barrels per day, contingent on the success of this period.

Enbridge says it will spend about US$100 million to expand its Gray Oak pipeline and add 2.5 million barrels of additional crude oil storage at the Enbridge Ingleside Energy Center terminal, near Corpus Christi, Texas.
