Trinity Operating is an independent oil and natural gas company headquartered in Houston, with current operations in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. Our company and its affiliates are actively engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of hydrocarbons from multiple basins throughout the United States. Trinity Operating has plans for expansion into new areas of operation where strategic opportunities exist.
Arkoma Basin – Trinity Operating began operations in 2016, focusing attention in the Arkoma Basin. In 2019 we achieved an average gross production rate of 42 MMBOE. Arkoma Basin is a peripheral foreland basin found in Southeastern Oklahoma and the central portion of Arkansas that covers an area of approximately 33,800 square miles. Arkoma Basin has been known for its hydrocarbon presence for well over 100 years. In fact, the first successful gas well was drilled in Mansfield Arkansas in March of 1902. Since then, it has continued to be a large producer of natural gas.
Eagleford Basin Stepping out from the Arkoma Basin, Trinity Operating drilled its first well in the Eagleford in 2018. The average gross production rate in 2019 was 5 MMBOE. Eagle Ford in Texas is the most mature tight oil play in the Lower 48 current, oil and natural gas production of 2.5 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. Measuring 400 miles long and 50 miles wide along the Texas Gulf Coast, the Eagle Ford basin is spread over 12,000 square miles in South and central Texas.
Haynesville Shale Moving East, Trinity Operating began drilling the Haynesville Shale in late 2019. HAYNESVILLE SHALE East Texas and Northwest Louisiana, is considered one of the top three U.S. natural gas deposits. A conservative assessment reported by the Institute for Energy Research in 2010 gave the Haynesville 75 trillion cubic feet. In its 2010 assessment, the U.S. Geological Survey assigned the Haynesville 61.4 Tcf of natural gas.
