Western Canada Pipeline Construction Detail

Pipeline permits include gathering or transport pipelines of a liquid, gas or oil through a system of pipes. In addition to these main types of pipelines, there are also four other sub-categories of pipelines: Gathering Lines, Feeder Lines, Transmission Pipelines and Distribution Pipelines. The permits represent all types of pipelines. This section shows pipeline permits that have a new construction component. (Pipeline Construction Western Canada Jan 30, 2022 report date )

Petroleum pipelines transport oil, oil products and natural gas. In addition to these two main types of pipelines, there are also four other sub-categories of pipelines: Gathering Lines, Feeder Lines, Transmission Pipelines and Distribution Pipelines. The permits represent all types of pipelines.

ARCHER EXPLORATION CORP. Permit#62,689 total 7.5KM Pipeline to pipeline

Charlie Lake Formation is a hydrocarbon bearing formation found predominantly in northeastern British Columbia, Canada. Aeolian sand bodies are present in both the subsurface and outcrop occurrences, and in fields like Brassey, are the primary hydrocarbon reservoir.

The Charlie Lake light oil play ranks amongst the most economic light oil plays in North America, is situated in an active development area with well-established production and egress infrastructure and is considered to be economically resilient to crude oil prices as low as US$30 WTI.

Charlie Lake light oil inventory has very robust economics consisting of: high productivity wells (IP30 rates of >650 boe/d(4)); payouts of less than 6 months; profit to investment ratios(1) (10% discount) of >1.7; and long-term net asset value growth (NPV10 per well greater than $5 million) at US $55/bbl WTI and $2.50/GJ AECO.

DEL CANADA GP LTD. Permit#62,852 – 2.2KM Well to pipeline

N7 ENERGY LTD. Permit #61,834  – 4.6KM Well to pipeline

Application to transfer existing AER licences from the current licensee of record Trident Exploration (Alberta) Corp. to N7 Energy Ltd. Application includes 243 Wells Licence(s).

WESTBRICK ENERGY LTD. Permit #62,848  – 7.1KM Pipeline to pipeline

Westbrick is a private oil and gas company formed to utilize proven resource technologies on conventional plays in Canada. The Company has captured an inventory of high quality, low risk liquids-rich gas drilling opportunities and is looking for further opportunities to expand its opportunity base. The Company is led by CEO Ken McCagherty, CFO Lloyd Heine, VP Exploration Tom Collins, VP Engineering Moe Mangat and VP Land James O’Connor. Board members include Bruce Chernoff, David Rain, Doug Kay (Chairman) and Jim Riddell.

The Brazeau River area is located over 180 kilometers southwest of Edmonton, Alberta, from Township 41-44 and Range 12-13 west of the fifth meridian.

Deep Basin assets provide short-cycle development opportunities with high return potential.  The Elmworth gas field is located within the Deep basin near Grande Prairie, Alberta (Fig. 1). The Deep basin covers about 26,000 sq miles and appears to contain an enormous amount of gas in different-quality rocks. Masters1 has estimated the Deep basin could contain more than 400 Tcf of gas, recoverable at various levels of price and technology.

GREENFIRE RESOURCES Permit #62,860  – 5.79KM Battery to battery

Greenfire Acquisition Corporation (“GAC” or the “Company”) announces the successful closing of the strategic acquisition of Japan Canada Oil Sands Limited (“JACOS”), which includes a 75% working interest and operatorship of the Hangingstone Expansion site. The definitive sale and purchase agreement to acquire all shares of JACOS, first announced on July 29, 2021 (the “Acquisition”), was executed via a GAC-affiliated special purpose acquisition vehicle named HE Acquisition Corporation (“HAC”).

Strategic Rationale

The strategic Acquisition of JACOS unites the Greenfire Hangingstone asset, held by GAC, with the immediately adjacent Hangingstone Expansion site, which share the same tier one oil sands reservoir. GAC plans to sustainably increase production at Hangingstone Expansion through the site’s existing infrastructure, employing the same safe, efficient, and capital-disciplined operating approach that the Company utilized to optimise conditions at the Greenfire Hangingstone asset. Leveraging its deep oil sands expertise, GAC expects these improvements will lead to a material enhancement in profitability and a step change reduction in the site’s carbon intensity per barrel of oil.

Outlook

Management estimates that the combined production from GAC’s portfolio will be more than 20,000 barrels per day (bbl/d) in the near-term and in excess of 30,000 bbl/d in the mid-term.

This allows Yangarra greater control over operating costs and ensures access to infrastructure. The Company strives to adapt and implement new technology faster than its peers.

Central Alberta
Yangarra Resources Ltd. has an interest in approximately 136 sections in this field, which is located north of the town of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.

The Company has strategically developed it’s land base to target the halo Cardium at Ferrier and Willesden Green with a focus on exploiting the prolific bioturbated zone as part of the entire Cardium package.

Cardium Play has been one of the largest oil fields in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin with production history of almost six decades. … The areas with highest liquid content are Lochend and East Pembina, the highest initial production is typically encountered in Lochend, Willesden Green and Ferrier areas.

The Deep Basin position has ~1.8MM net acres of Spirit River Formation rights which is the dominant producing liquids rich gas Formation. Our Deep Basin assets from Edson to Wapiti have a significant horizontal well exploration drilling inventory of Spirit River liquids rich natural gas drills as well as Dunvegan Formation light oil drills. We have extensive and underutilized infrastructure which provides us with a “Drill to fill” strategic opportunity as well as low operating costs.
