Change of Ownership – Rosehill Resources continues to divest assets
Rosehill Resources Inc. and Rosehill Operating Company LLC have emerged from Houston’s bankruptcy court well ahead of schedule.
The Rosehill companies came to the Houston court with $350 million in outstanding debt, $29 million in cash and a prepackaged bankruptcy plan, CFO Craig Owen said in a declaration to the court early in the process.
The bankruptcy resulted in the cancellation of existing equity interests in Rosehill, which was publicly traded prior to the restructuring. The bankruptcy plan called for ownership in the reorganized company to go to its former creditors. As of the company’s emergence from the court, EIG Global Energy Partners was the majority owner over Rosehill Operating, according to a press release.
