Measuring 400 miles long and 50 miles wide along the Texas Gulf Coast, the Eagle Ford basin is spread over 12,000 square miles in South and central Texas.

Sage continues to accumulate actionable drilling permits across the Company’s 57,000 net acres in Texas with line of sight to similar multi-well projects in the future, including a six-well pad currently underway.”

Barnett Shale gas play refers to an extensive gas development project covering portions of at least 18 counties in the northeast portion of the Bend arch Fort Worth Basin in Texas. The core area of the Barnett Shale is in Denton, Johnson, Tarrant and Wise counties, and is largely dry gas, although Wise County is generally oilier.

Valero Partners – Permit RN109295212 – PORT ARTHUR PRODUCTS STATION

Valero Energy Partners LP is a master limited partnership formed by Valero Energy Corporation to own, operate, develop and acquire crude oil and refined petroleum products pipelines, terminals, and other transportation and logistics assets.

Valero Energy Corp. has announced it will immediately move forward with the development of a new 470 MMgy renewable diesel plant at its refinery in Port Arthur, Texas. Expansion projects are also underway at the company’s existing Diamond Green Diesel facility.

Joe Gorder, chairman and CEO of Valero, discussed the company’s three renewable diesel projects during a fourth quarter earnings call held Jan. 28. All three projects are a joint venture developed by Darling Ingredients and a subsidiary of Valero Energy. The Valero Port Arthur Refinery, a flagship refinery within the Valero system, is strategically located on about 4,000 acres along the Texas Gulf Coast, approximately 90 miles east of Houston. It was commissioned in 1901 and acquired in 2005 from Premcor. The refinery receives crude oil by rail, marine docks and pipelines. Finished products are distributed into the Colonial, Explorer and other pipelines, and across the refinery docks into ships and barges.

Valero and Darling continue to pursue growth in the low-carbon renewable diesel business, and have approved a new 470 million gallons per year renewable diesel plant near Valero’s Port Arthur, Texas refinery. Operations are expected to begin in 2023, increasing Diamond Green Diesel’s total annual production to approximately 1.2 billion gallons of renewable diesel.

Verdun has strategically focused its efforts on one of the most prolific and accessible regions in the world: The Eagle Ford and Austin Chalk Trend of South Texas.

Eagle Ford in Texas is the most mature tight oil play in the Lower 48 current, oil and natural gas production of 2.5 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. Austin Chalk 650-mile long geological formation, stretching underground from the Mexico-Texas border, through central Louisiana and into Mississippi. Austin Chalk holds about 4.1 billion barrels of crude, 18 trillion cubic feet of gas and 1 billion barrels of natural-gas liquids. Austin Chalk oil recoveries since 2018 averaged 60% higher than those of the Lower Eagle Ford

The Company owns over 33,000 net mineral acres across the Eagle Ford trend (located in LaSalle, Live Oak, McMullen, Dimmit, DeWitt, and Gonzales counties) in addition to 55,000 net acres in the Austin Chalk trend (located in Washington and southern Burleson counties). As of January 2020, the company operates approximately 220 wells and produces over 34,000 net boepd.

Mobil Pipeline Company Permit#10351- New Pipeline 56 Mile – JEFFERSON, LIBERTY County 

ExxonMobile operates the Baytown chemical plant, Mont Belvieu plastics plant and Beaumont polyethylene plant.  The pipeline looks to connect the regions.

ExxonMobil Pipeline, the oil and gas transportation arm of Exxon Mobil, transports about 2.7 million barrels of crude oil, refined petroleum products, liquefied petroleum gases, natural gas liquids, and chemicals through 8,000 miles of pipeline that runs through 23 US states, Canada, and the Gulf of Mexico.

RIO GRANDE E&P, LLC – Permit #10353 & #10354 – 4 miles new pipeline – Webb County

Rio Grande is a privately held company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of natural gas and oil assets in South Texas. Rio Grande was founded in June 2017 by Glenn Hart (the former Chief Executive Officer of Michael Petroleum Corporation and Laredo Energy) and GS Gas LLC (whose principals include Governor Jeb Bush, Jeb Bush Jr, and Santi Barrosso).

The Rio Grande management team, which includes industry veterans Jerry Holditch and Brian Butler, specializes in South Texas natural gas production, particularly in Webb County, and the area surrounding Laredo, Texas. The management team has collectively drilled more than 500 wells, acquired interests in over 1,000 wells, and held oil and gas leases of over 500,000 acres in the area of specialization. Rio Grande acquired more than $40 million in South Texas assets in 2019 and is actively seeking new
acquisitions in our area of focus.
