EagleRidge Energy (ERE) is a Dallas-based operator focused in the Barnett Shale. ERE is engaged in the exploration and production of onshore natural gas properties.
EagleRidge’s focus of operations is in the Barnett Shale of North Texas where the Company operates over 1,800 wells on nearly 300,000 gross acres across 16 counties.
Barnett Shale gas play refers to an extensive gas development project covering portions of at least 18 counties in the northeast portion of the Bend arch Fort Worth Basin in Texas. The core area of the Barnett Shale is in Denton, Johnson, Tarrant and Wise counties, and is largely dry gas, although Wise County is generally oilier.

Permian Basin
The Permian Basin is one of the oldest oil and gas producing basins in the United States. Coterra’s acreage is located in the Delaware Basin region which spans west Texas and southeast New Mexico. Our core acreage position includes 234,000 net acres with multi-zone development opportunities. We are currently focused on developing the Upper Wolfcamp, Bone Spring, and Avalon. Our key sustainability practices for this asset include the use of electric horsepower for power generation, an on-demand pipeline system for recycling water, and lowering emissions through reducing flaring activity.

ETX has a substantial Eagle Ford drilling inventory. After restarting the horizontal Buda drilling program in 2017, ETX Energy closed an acquisition with Marlin Energy Resources in June 2018, picking up additional acreage in Grimes, Brazos, and Burleson counties. Coupled with recent bolt-ons in Q1 2019, ETX is now primed for its Eagle Ford drilling program, which began in August 2018. ETX expects great results from the new drilling campaign as it monitors results from other major industry players, such as Chesapeake/WildHorse, Hawkwood, Apache, Magnolia, and MD America, whose positions are essentially adjacent to ETX’s area of focus.
ETX has expertise in drilling and producing both horizontal and vertical wells with production co-mingled from multiple zones. While the company is currently focused on its Eagle Ford inventory, the company also holds acreage positions in the stacked pay Buda, Georgetown, Edwards and Glen Rose formations (the “Buda-Rose”).
