Voyager Midstream Acquires 550 Miles of Phillips 66 Pipelines in Haynesville Shale

Phillips 66 has sold 550 miles of natural gas pipelines, along with associated assets in the Haynesville Shale, to Voyager Midstream Holdings, a portfolio company of Pearl Energy Investments. The assets are located in Texas (Panola, Rusk, and Harrison counties) and Louisiana (Caddo Parish). This acquisition includes not only the pipeline infrastructure but also 400 million cubic feet per day of cryogenic gas processing capacity and 12,000 barrels per day of liquids fractionation capacity.

A key component of the deal is the Carthage Hub, a vital natural gas trading and delivery hub with the capability to manage over one billion cubic feet of gas per day. The hub provides access to several U.S. markets and premium liquefied natural gas (LNG) markets in Texas and Louisiana, enhancing Voyager’s presence and connectivity in the Haynesville Shale, a highly productive natural gas region. This acquisition marks a significant expansion for Voyager, with plans for further infrastructure growth in East Texas and North Louisiana.

Voyager’s CEO, Will Harvey, emphasized the importance of the transaction in positioning the company for future growth and improving connectivity for producers in the region.
